Socialization Events
The Barn hosts several socialization events throughout the year which are open to those in our Barn Family and new friends looking for a fun time at the farm! Socialization Events are wonderful opportunities for Barn families to meet one other as well as for prospective families to visit The Barn and learn more about our programming. These events are celebrations of our community in which families and friends meet our furry farm friends, explore our Outdoor Learning Center and enjoy our Barn loft.
Upcoming 2026 Socialization Events
Spring Fling: Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 12 to 3 pm
Join us at The Barn for a celebration of the Spring season! Ring in the warmer weather and spring colors and enjoy watching our sheep get sheared, planting seeds to start in your home garden, hunting our grounds for early Spring Blooms, making bird nests for our feathered friends and more fun crafts and activities! There is nothing like early Spring at The Barn!
Autumn Festival: Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 12 to 3 pm
Did you ever wonder what the inside of a pumpkin looked like? Autumn fest is a celebration of all things fall! Enjoy fishing for apples, hayrides, pumpkin tic tac toe, a fall farmers market, pumpkin decorating, making leaf prints and face painting to name just a few of the fun activities planned to help us celebrate autumn. The Barn’s grounds are beautiful this time of year as the green fields are sprinkled with brightly colored leaves of bright red, yellow and orange. You can feel that fall magic in the air!
Winter Fest: Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm
The winter season is upon us, and you can feel the chill in the air. Warm up with hot cocoa and holiday treats as we celebrate this very special time of year. Enjoy cookie decorating, ornament making, dreidel games, kwanza treats and more! Special guests join us and spread a little holiday magic…Santa, his head elf and Elsa bring lots of smiles! This special celebration embraces the true meaning of the season!
